All programs are open to the public.

We invite residents and non-residents to join the Society to enjoy all member activities and support the projects of this unique historical community.

Meetings are held monthly on second Thursdays at The Bethel in Mount Tabor. Refreshments at 7:00 pm followed by program and meeting at 7:30 pm.

* Thursday Oct 8 Ghost Tales with a Historical Flavor presented by storytellers Carol Titus & Ken Galipeau.

* Thursday Nov 12 Growing Up in Mount Tabor - A panel of long-time residents share memories about their Mt. Tabor childhood.

* Friday Nov 13 "Tellabration" at the Bethel - 7:30 Storytelling for Grownups

* Fri/Sat/Sun Nov 20-22 Annual Holiday Craft Fair and Cookie Walk at the History House

* Thursday Dec 10 Members-only Holiday Party at the History House on Trinity Place

* Thursday Jan 14 Member "Show and Tell" Members are invited to bring objects of historic significance that have ‘stories' to tell.

* Thursday Feb 11 What Is Victoriana? A program presented by the Morris County Historical Society.

* Thursday Mar 11 Traditional Celtic Tales Storyteller David Emerson retells tales that will "tickle the heart." Supported by the NJ Council for the Humanities.

* Thursday Apr 8 Totally Tea: An 18th-Century Tea Experience presented by Stacy Roth A costumed presentation of tea lore, history, songs, poetry and demonstration. Supported by the NJ Council for the Humanities.

 * Thursday May 13 Nick Cerbo – The History of Parsippany. Don't miss this long-time resident's delightful memories of life and times in our area.

* Thursday June 10 Stained Glass Tour and Demonstration "Jewels at the windows" Presented by Beth Shaw and Mt. Tabor Home Owners

* Thursday July 8 Members-only Summer Picnic "Wrapping up the Year"

* Saturday Aug 7 Children's Day Weekend MTHS Ice Cream Sale at the Midway. Volunteers needed.
