DESCRIPTION: \nNoa Snook\, a local Scout from Crew 17 has chosen to work with the Mount Tabor Historical Society for her Eagle Scout Project!   \nA few words about her project and some information on how to participate follow. \nFor my Eagle Scout project\, I’m working with the Mount Tabor Historical Society to preserve the unique history of Mount Tabor by collecting and recording stories from current and former residents. These interviews will be shared on the Mount Tabor Historical Society website\, social media\, and sent to local libraries to help future generations understand the community’s rich past. \nTo make this possible\, I need your help! We’re looking for: \n\nInterviewees – current or past residents with stories to share \nInterviewers – especially adults\, who will help conduct the interviews\n\n\nNo special experience is needed—I’ll handle all the recording!  \nVolunteer interviewers need to attend one quick Zoom training offered on two separate dates.\nHow to Conduct an Interview Seminar –\nIn this session\, I’ll go over interview tips\, help you create questions\, and match you with a resident if needed.\nDate: Saturday\, August 16          Time: 12:00 noon  or \nDate: Sunday\, August 17          Time: 7:00pm          \n  \nInterviews will be held in Mount Tabor – Interviews will take place in a location that’s comfortable for the interviewee: Either their home\, the Bethel\, the Mount Tabor Museum\, or outside (weather permitting).\nSaturday\, August 23\,  9:30am to 4pm or\nSunday\, August 24\,  9:30am to 4pm\n \nWe need at least 15 interviewers and 15 residents to participate. Interviews will be video and audio recorded\, unless someone prefers not to be on video.  \n\nNOTE: If the interview dates don’t work with your schedule\, but you’d like to participate\, we want to know.
